A Creative Haven for Moms and Kids

Hi, I’m Catherine Gunarso—calligrapher, educator, and founder of Lines & Littles, a cozy creative studio and kid-friendly coffee shop in the making, based in Marin County.

Like many moms, I found myself craving something that didn’t seem to exist:

A space that felt calm and beautiful for me—and playful and engaging for my child.

A place where moms could drink a warm latte, make art, connect with others, and still keep their little ones close.

So I decided to build it.

From Calligraphy Studio to Creative Community Space

Before launching Lines & Littles, I founded Everlace Design Co, a modern calligraphy studio known for its elegant lettering and creative workshops. I’ve had the joy of working with brands like Bvlgari, Hermes, Amazon and teaching hundreds of students the art of hand lettering.

Those experiences taught me something important:

Creativity is not just a hobby—it’s a form of self-care.

That belief continues to guide everything we do at Lines & Littles.

Kids could play safely and freely

Lines & Littles is a hybrid space—part kid-friendly café, part art studio, part mom lounge—located in Marin, designed with the whole family in mind.
